At the Changshu high-speed railway construction site, a giant-level pile foundation task was underway. Jiangsu Anteng Machinery Co., Ltd.'s AT230B high-frequency hydraulic vibratory hammer successfully completed difficult pile driving and extraction work for an ultra-large steel pipe pile with a diameter of 2,890 mm, nearly 3 m, and a length of 6 m. The project once again refreshed the application record of domestic vibratory hammers in large-diameter pile foundation work.
For a vibratory hammer, the larger the pile diameter, the greater the construction difficulty. The steel pipe pile in this project reached 2,890 mm in diameter, placing it in the ultra-large-diameter category. Compared with conventional piles, the challenges were comprehensive.
Huge soil contact area: A diameter of nearly 3 m means the contact area between the pile body and soil increases dramatically, resulting in extremely high pile sinking resistance and extraction friction.
Strict equipment matching requirements: Construction requires not only sufficient excitation force, but also a clamping system capable of firmly gripping such a large steel pipe diameter to prevent slipping or deformation.

Facing this massive pile, the Jiangsu Anteng AT230B hydraulic vibratory hammer demonstrated the technical foundation required for large-diameter pile work.
Powerful excitation to break resistance: During driving, the AT230B used strong centrifugal force to efficiently transmit vibration energy to the pile body, overcoming the soil resistance caused by the ultra-large diameter and achieving precise pile sinking.
Stable clamping with effortless control: For the 2,890 mm ultra-large pipe diameter, the AT230B was equipped with a high-strength clamping system that provided sufficient clamping force, ensuring the giant pile remained firmly gripped under intense vibration and keeping the construction process steady.
Strong extraction for extreme conditions: During pile extraction, the AT230B relied on continuous and stable extraction force to overcome the huge side friction produced by the large-diameter pile foundation, successfully lifting the ultra-large steel pipe pile from the ground in an efficient and smooth process.
The successful application in the Changshu high-speed railway project verifies the AT230B's hard-core strength in ultra-large-diameter steel pipe pile construction and demonstrates the capability of domestic equipment to handle difficult infrastructure challenges. From conventional piles to giant piles nearly 3 m in diameter, Jiangsu Anteng is providing more reliable piling solutions for major projects at home and abroad through solid technical accumulation.
