Heavy Tonnage, Tough Conditions and Major Challenges: Anteng AT-300 and AT-400 Power Heavy-Duty Pile Foundation Construction

Jul 08, 2026

At major infrastructure sites such as bridges, ports, docks and deep-water cofferdams, pile foundation construction is moving toward larger pile diameters, deeper penetration and stronger bearing capacity. Facing this heavy-duty construction demand, Anteng AT-300 and AT-400 hydraulic vibratory hammers are demonstrating strong performance across multiple projects.
In the Nantong shipyard project, the Anteng AT-300 hydraulic vibratory hammer undertook the construction of 915 mm, 37 m steel pipe piles. Shipyard projects involve extensive waterside operations and high structural foundation requirements. Large-diameter, long steel pipe piles place higher demands on verticality control, vibration stability and continuous equipment output during pile sinking. With an eccentric moment of 133 kgm, rated excitation force of 3,076 kN and maximum extraction force of 2,000 kN, the AT-300 effectively addresses the high-resistance construction challenges of long and large-diameter pipe piles.

At the Jiujiang dock project, the Anteng AT-400 served even higher-load pile foundation conditions. The project required construction of 800 mm, 50 m steel pipe piles, with longer pile bodies, greater soil penetration resistance and strict stability requirements in a port waterside environment. The AT-400 has an eccentric moment of 200 kgm, rated excitation force of 4,300 kN and maximum extraction force of 2,500 kN, providing powerful vibration energy for long-distance pile sinking and ensuring efficient, stable installation of large steel pipe piles.

From the Nantong shipyard to the Jiujiang dock, the applications of the AT-300 and AT-400 show that heavy-duty hydraulic vibratory hammers must not only deliver power, but also maintain stability in complex working conditions. For long, large-diameter pipe pile construction, equipment must provide excellent anti-vibration capability and reliable clamping to reduce construction fluctuation and improve site efficiency.
With strong excitation force, high stability and mature power-pack matching capability, the AT-300 and AT-400 have become ideal equipment choices for port foundations, dock construction, offshore dry docks and heavy-load pile foundation projects. Anteng Engineering will continue to focus on heavy-duty piling needs and provide efficient, reliable system solutions for more major infrastructure projects.
